I am an amateur in the photography world, but I have been taking photos ever since a bought a second-hand Canonet compact camera in 1973 and set off along the Hippie Trail through Asia and on to Australia.

I enjoy taking photographs of landscapes, from a panoramic perspective down to the shapes and patterns that make up the wider picture. More recently I have been taking photographs of birds. My aim is to distill the essence of the subject and present it with balance and integrity.
